A graduate of the University of Melbourne (BVSc 1983), John undertook advanced surgical training in the United States, Canada (DVSc 1989) and Sweden (PhD 1999). Since 1993 he has been exclusively involved in developing models of human orthopaedic disease. In collaboration with Mr. Ray Yates, the CORe has been established over the last several years. It now provides a world-class pre-clinical evaluation facility for orthopaedic and other medical devices.

She has a sound background in all areas of animal health in the research area specialising in orthopaedic research animals. Brooke’s expertise involves anaesthesia, pre and post operative care and animal husbandry.
